Submit Writing or Art to the Poetry Lounge’s ‘yawp’ Magazine

Do you dabble in the written word? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to see your artwork in a magazine?

The Poetry Lounge in Millvale is bringing back a small press literary arts zine from the early 2000s called “yawp,” and you can submit your work. They’re looking for writing and black-and-white artwork.

The magazine spurred the creation of the showcase variety show “yawp Carnival Poetica,” which will also be making a return in April — for National Poetry Month — on the Poetry Lounge stage!

Submit your poetry during open mic nights on Tuesdays or send your creations to yawp@poetryloungepgh.com by March 25.
