🖍️ Donate to Local Teachers

Did you know that the Education Partnership’s Teacher Resource Center provides free supplies to teachers at 191 schools? 🎧 Right now, the center is especially in need of pencils, notebooks, scissors, crayons, and copy paper. [City Cast Pittsburgh]

🗑️ Redd Up the Neighborhood

Pretty Up Beechview is hosting its monthly litter cleanup this Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, starting at the parking lot near the Hampshire T stop (corner of Broadway and Beechview avenues).

😻 Cocktails, Cats, & Crafts

Mark your calendar for a rescue fundraiser at Velum Fermentation in the South Side on Sunday, Aug. 13, from 3 to 7 p.m. There will be vendors, vegan food, games, raffles, and more.

♻️ Recycle Your E-Waste

Have old computers, cell phones, and other appliances? Register now for Pennsylvania Resources Council’s upcoming hard-to-recycle events on Aug. 12 at Woodland Hills High School in Churchill and Aug. 26 at Next Tier Connect in Monroeville.
