🍕 Food Truck: Blue Sparrow

You can catch the Blue Sparrow food truck slinging global street food all around town, but their pizza airstream is now permanently parked outside of Dancing Gnome’s new headquarters and taproom in Sharpsburg. Grab a beer with some pizza, dumplings, or a ramen burger?

🍳 Pop-Up / Cart: Thyme Machine

The best way to start your day in the ‘Burgh is with a savory breakfast sandwich from The Thyme Machine outside of the former Bitter Ends Food in Bloomfield. Meat eaters have to try the mortadella; veg heads like me can dig into a classic egg and cheese or specials with broccolini or mushrooms. Plus, our favorite soup maker, brothmonger, sells her pints there too!

☀️ Patio: Sally Ann’s

Want coffee? A cocktail? How about both? Head to the Cultural District for breakfast, brunch, or lunch at Sally Ann’s. There are salads, fries, and handhelds for everyone’s taste, and the charming patio is perfect for Downtown people watching.

There’s more where that came from! 🎧 Listen to our City Cast Pittsburgh episode about the best patios, pop-ups, and food trucks for spring.
