Away With Yard Waste

Have lots of leaves, branches, and other brush? Mark your calendars and tell your neighbors that city crews will be collecting yard waste on your curbside this Saturday, Nov. 12.



All leaves and other brush must be contained in brown paper bags, no more than 35 pounds. Branches have to be bundled with fiber twine or rope, no more than four inches in diameter and five feet in length. Be sure to place it in your usual trash/recycling spot by 6 a.m.Yard waste collections CAN NOT contain plastic bags, glass, rocks, blocks, bricks, dirt, or gravel.



And if you miss the pickup or have more yard waste, remember that there’s drop-off centers in East End, Hazelwood, and West End that are open during regular business hours.
