The City of Pittsburgh is accepting applications for its lawn cutting program, City Cuts, now through April 21.

🏡 What Is ‘City Cuts’?

The program matches neighbors in need with landscapers who cut their grass twice a month (weather permitting), summer through early fall.

✅ Who Qualifies?

Applicants must live within city limits, own property or be responsible for the grass on the property, lack social or financial means to cut their own lawns, and meet at least one of the following criteria: be 62 years or older, be a veteran, have a disability keeping them from cutting grass, or have an income at or below the Federal Poverty Guideline.

📝 How Do I Apply?

Fill out this online application. If you need assistance, call 311 or (412) 255-2621. Service is limited, and applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

🌱 Can I Get Involved?

The city is looking for local landscapers and contractors to participate in the program. They offer competitive rates and pay based on square footage per yard. Apply here!
