Revival on Lincoln. (Francesca Dabecco / City Cast Pittsburgh)
Revival on Lincoln is an upscale American restaurant inside a restored 120-year-old Colonial-style building that formerly served as a family home and funeral parlor. The bar is especially fun, and they have space for events outside and upstairs.

My takeout pick: spicy basil noodles from Thai Tamarind.
For dessert: Grab cookies of every flavor at Good L’oven Cookie Shop; and pies, cakes, & pastries from Lincoln Bakery.
