Welcome to your Hey Pittsburgh bulletin board: A virtual space to share volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, workshops, and other ways to help your neighbors.

Bundle Up With Operation Warm

Pittsburgh firefighters are distributing coats to children in need this week, and there’s still time to make a monetary donation. You can also donate to Project Bundle Up or Free Store 15104.

Holiday Meals for Hungry Neighbors

The Northside Food Pantry needs non-perishable food items like cases of soup and household items like paper towels and cleaning products. Find a pantry in your neighborhood.

Win This Tasty Charity Basket

You have a few more days to donate to the Women’s Center and Shelter for a chance to win a basket with gift cards and prizes from Saint Ravioli, Trace Brewing, Mercurios, Spill The Wine Bar, and more. Enter before noon on Friday.

Participate in the Christmas Bird Count

Help researchers understand long-term changes in bird populations by volunteering to tally birds with the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania's annual Christmas Bird Count. There are a few events left this month at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve in Fox Chapel and Succop Nature Park in Butler.
