Welcome to your virtual Pittsburgh bulletin board 📌 with volunteer opportunities, community tips, and more:

🌈 Pittsburgh LGBTQ Charities is ramping up its efforts to distribute “Protect Trans Kids” signs during Pride month — a supportive message to transgender youth that began after a local family pressed charges last year because their teenage daughter was targeted by transphobic slurs. Request your sign at bit.ly/ProtectTransKidsSigns.

🧊 If you’ve received some form of assistance from Pennsylvania’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in the past 12 months, you could be eligible to get a free air conditioner this summer. Reach out to your local agency here.

🥕 A free community produce stand will be set up every second and fourth Friday of the month at Centre Avenue and Elmore Street in the Hill District, thanks to a collaboration between the regional food bank and other neighborhood organizations.
