Ever wonder who maintains the greenspace in your community? There’s a good chance it’s a member of Grounded Strategies’ CommunityCare public stewardship program. Through CommunityCare, residents get the tools, resources, and support they need to beautify green and open spaces throughout their neighborhoods on their own time — from tree tending to landscaping vacant lots.

Volunteers in the program are ramping up for the busy spring season, and you can help by sponsoring a steward. A $100 donation gets your business name displayed on the CommunityCare page, your logo in Grounded’s monthly newsletter, an invite to CommunityCare social events, and more.

If you’d like to join CommunityCare, there are perks! The program operates on an incentive structure: One hour of work equals one credit, and for every eight credits earned, you can choose from several different non-monetary compensations. Plus, it’s great for personal growth and community building!
