🌳 Clean Up Local Trails

Volunteer to help clear paths at the Hollow Oak Land Trust’s cleanup days for Thorn Run, Montour Woods, Vinegar Hollow, and Trout Run. The next maintenance meetup is Nov. 18 at 2 p.m.

🍪 Light Up Night Bake Sale

Tis the season for cookies, and you can help the Polish Hill Civic Association by whipping up something sweet for their bake sale during the neighborhood’s Light Up Night. Drop off your goodies Dec. 6 at 3060 Brereton Street.

📸 Take A Photography or Social Media Class

  • Premier Imagining and Camera is holding a studio photography class on the basics of lighting, staging, and more at its North Hills location from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday. The class costs $20; call (412) 364-1815 to RSVP.
  • Learn how to grow your audience and get more out of social media with artist Bob Freyer at Ketchup City Creative in Sharpsburg. Tickets are $25.

🧺 Make Miscarriage Care Packages

Join the Still Remembered Project in Bethel Park on Nov. 14 to assemble packages for grieving mothers in Pittsburgh, Ohio, West Virginia, and other Western Pennsylvania cities.
