♻️ Got Glass?

There’s a new permanent glass recycling station in Mt. Oliver, next to the community garden. Drop off your bottles, jars, and jugs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

🚲 Drop-In Bike Repairs

Free Ride in Homewood is hosting open shop hours on July 25 to show riders how to use bike repair tools. If you are a cycling expert, volunteer to share your knowledge with the community. There will be parts and bikes for sale, which you can buy with dollars or volunteer sweat equity.

🎥 Help Make This Local Film Happen

Pittsburgh native filmmaker Charlotte Glynn hopes to begin filming her new movie, “Gymnast,” in August with an all local cast and crew, but first, she needs to raise the final $8,000 in her Kickstarter campaign. “Gymnast” is about loss and perseverance in the face of extreme odds: the story of a young Olympic-hopeful Monica and her single dad in Pittsburgh during the collapse of the steel industry. Her previous Pittsburgh film, “The Immaculate Reception,” premiered at The Sundance Film Festival.
