Need to chill out and warm up? Find your next hot beverage at these tea houses, cafes, and shops.

📍Millvale

Pick your blend from the massive tea wall and pair it with a treat (like this earl grey and lemon crumb cake). Having trouble choosing? Take their tea quiz to get your perfect match. Tip: Abeille Voyante Tea is neighbors with the Millvale Library, so you can pick up your next cozy read to pair with your drink.

📍Bloomfield

Visiting Bantha Tea Bar kind of feels like stepping inside a Star Wars cantina. There’s sand-colored stucco walls, cozy corners, and mosaics — plus lots of seating for events like live music, comedy, and artist meetups. Choose a loose leaf from their menu, or get the “Bantha Fodder,” a combo of “any and ALL of Bantha’s teas.”

📍Squirrel Hill

Not only can you find tons of great teas and brewing accessories at Blue Monkey Tea, but you can learn everything from steeping times to matcha preparation with their in-store classes and archive of online workshops.

📍Squirrel Hill

This hip tea house is decked out with cool rugs, traditional pottery, and cozy floor cushions — perfect for relaxing with one of their specialty cups, like sweet green tea mixed with Moroccan mint. Craving more than a single cup? Sample a flight and order a mezze platter!

📍Bloomfield

There’s a whole sea of tea options at Gryphon’s, but luckily their website makes it easy to browse. Start by picking from varieties like black, green, white, pu-ehr, oolong, mate, rooibos, and tisane tea. Tip: They give discounts based on how much tea you buy, and you can order online for shipment!

📍Lawrenceville

You won’t find any honey, sugar, or milk at this new tea lounge located on the ground floor of the yoga studio Sneha. It’s all about the art and sensory experience of pure tea. Steep yourself in knowledge with their weekly “Explorations into Tea” classes.
