There’s still a lot of summer left to enjoy, and more than a few Pittsburgh food and drink festivals on the schedule. Did we mention some have live music? Check them out!

🗓️ Aug. 10th

📍 Allegheny Commons Park

This food fest is crammed with vegan treats for every taste — especially those with a sweet tooth. Bitchy Vegan Homo will be there with oatmeal creme pies and so will Monster Baby Donuts with some seriously tasty icing flavors.

🗓️ Aug. 10th

📍The Stacks

Sample beer made by Black brewers from all over the country, and then pickup some handmade beer or wine soaps. There’s also a conference where you can learn more about the brewing industry.

🗓️ Aug. 12-18

📍Various locations

Quite a number of local restaurants are offering special deals, including some on our best patios shortlist. Three course meals for less than $50, anyone?

🗓️ Aug. 15-18

📍Bloomfield

Pizza dough flipped right in front of you, gelato booths, wine sampling, and bocce competitions are just some of the offerings at this festival honoring all things Italian.

🗓️ Aug. 29-Sept. 1

📍McCandless

Ever tried a baklava sundae? It sounds like the perfect wrap up to a feast that includes moussaka, braised lamb shank, and Greek fries.

🗓️ Aug. 30-Sept. 1

📍Market Square and the Blvd of the Allies

Celebrate Pittsburgh’s Black food entrepreneurs with an assortment of the best soul food in the city, including Leon’s Caribbean, and Ray Ray’s BBQ. Then pull up a chair and feast while listening to The House Of Soul and the other artists.

🗓️ Sept. 14th

📍The Stacks at 3 Crossings

You could track down the best Mexican restaurants in Pittsburgh individually, or you could sample a taco from every stall at this taco fest. Once you’ve done that, you can move on to empanadas, pupusas, and arepas.

Thank goodness the city isn’t short on food festivals as we head into fall. (Did some of you just sigh in relief at the thought of cooler temps?). Want more details on all of these fests, including the team’s favorite food items? We’re sharing our festival hacks on the City Cast Pittsburgh podcast.
