Pittsburgh’s Best Romantic Restaurants for Valentine’s Day

00:00:00

The City Cast Pittsburgh team is sharing some of their favorite spots for date night ahead of Valentine’s Day.

📍Downtown

Nothing sets the mood like dim lighting, jazz music, and a menu you’ll be having pillowtalk over. (I’m still thinking about the Korean fried tofu and brussels!) Try dishes inspired by cuisine all over the world while grooving to tunes and celebrating Pittsburgh’s rich jazz legacy.

📍South Side

Get the best of both Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine at this intimate, charming eatery, and wash it down with a glass from their wine or rotating cocktail list. City Cast Pittsburgh producer Sophia Lo raves about their gnocchi, but you can’t go wrong with any pasta dish. Don’t forget dessert! Limoncello cheesecake, anyone?

📍East Allegheny

Whether you’re at the bar, sitting a table for two, or out on their heated patio, the ambiance is perfect for date night. Share the cauliflower risotto, get cozy with the short rib and pork belly meatloaf, and finish with the cast iron kahlua fudge brownie. I love their Pittsburgh-themed cocktails like “the Spring Garden goddess.”

📍Shadyside

Pretend you’re in Paris — in the Paris of Appalachia — while being served traditional fare and cocktails by the French waitstaff. Then, finish off the night with crème brûlée. What’s more romantic than the French?
