New Director of the Brewers Guild

Melissa “Mel” Larrick from Hop Farm Brewing in Lawrenceville will take over as the new executive director of the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild in January. The guild has 43 members across Allegheny County.

South Side Sushi Robots

If you like raw fish and ramen, check out Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in South Side Works. You can grab sushi off of the conveyor belt, and there’s even a robot named KurB that brings you drinks or condiments.

I.C. Gets Into the Spirits

Pittsburgh Brewing’s new facility in Creighton is expanding from beer to booze made with locally-sourced heirloom grains.

  • 🥃 Get a taste of bourbon, rye, and wheat whiskey on Nov. 3 from 3 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $75-125.
