Start the Week With Bagels

Cure the Monday blues with Pigeon Bagels in Squirrel Hill, now open Mondays starting May 8. Take your pick from a variety of bagel flavors and top it off with a schmear like fig and honey or jalapeno cream cheese.

Ice Cream That’s Everything

Speaking of bagels… Jeni’s Ice Cream (located in Bakery Square) is bringing back their flavor that broke the internet in 2021: a sweet cream cheese ice cream with a sesame, poppy seed, onion, and garlic streusel mixed throughout. It’ll be available for a limited time on Thursday, May 11. (Try at your own risk 🥯)

Coming Soon: Wise County Cafe

You may know Wise County biscuits from pop-up events around town, and now they’re finally getting a brick-and-mortar on the North Side this summer. Stay tuned for biscuits, breakfast, and lunch on Galveston Avenue.

A Driftwood Oven Mother’s Day

We’re on a pastry kick today, and I have a gift suggestion: a package including a Tiny Seed Fleurs bouquet, Driftwood Oven treats like strawberry cheesecake, cruffins, and cookies, plus a Brut Rosé. Pick up in Lawrenceville either Saturday or Sunday before Mother’s Day.
