Dean Bog, YouTube & What Makes Pittsburgh So Special
A few years ago, a recent Pitt grad started an ambitious project — document as many Pittsburgh neighborhoods as possible and make it fun. Dean Bog became a local sensation, enticing people to care about places they’d never visited and peppering local history and flavor into every edition. And then, the YouTube series stopped. After a three year hiatus, Neighborhoods returned a few months ago with a very different point of view. What happened to the beloved Pgh filmmaker? Why the switch? And where is he going from here?
